Did You Know That Lana Del Rey Is Touring This Fall?

Lana Del Rey got a lot of attention online this weekend for wearing white and platform shoes to a wedding that wasn’t her own. She seems to be making up for this by announcing a 10-date fall tour.

The “Summertime Sadness” singer will kick off the brief tour on September 14 in Franklin, Tennessee. She will travel through eight states before concluding her tour on October 5 in Charleston, West Virginia. Concert organizer Live Nation said on Monday that tickets will go on sale this Friday.

The tour will go to Texas, Alabama, Florida, and Pennsylvania, among other states, but there are no West Coast shows planned, even though Del Rey’s most recent album was inspired by California. The musician will also perform on October 1 at the All Things Go music festival in Columbia, Maryland.

“Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.,” the Grammy-nominated artist’s ninth studio record, came out in March. This summer, she played at Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, and Glastonbury, as well as in Mexico and Europe. Del Rey also gained attention last month after moonlighting as a server at an Alabama Waffle House.

This weekend in New Jersey, where she witnessed the star-studded nuptials of music producer Jack Antonoff and actress Margaret Qualley, the eccentric artist once again sparked audience curiosity with her wedding guest attire. (Del Rey worked with Antonoff on a number of projects, including the song “Margaret,” which features his band Bleachers.)

The “Young and Beautiful” singer was seen at the wedding venue wearing a white and pink minidress and a white sweater. In addition, some observers were eager to criticize the attire. Page Six reported that Del Rey was criticized for wearing a white dress and Crocs, but it turns out that their assessment was exaggerated, based on a satirical X user cited by the publication.

“Not Page Six believing my tweet that Lana Del Rey wore crocs to a wedding,” tweeted X user CinamonSluh, relating to a previous tweet about the singer wearing pink “Crocs platform sliders.”

Others were eager to point at the fact that Del Rey’s “white dress” actually featured pink floral accessories, and others praised the vocalist for choosing to wear comfortable shoes to the dance floor.
