Kim Kardashian - American Horror Story

Kim Kardashian is adding yet another achievement to her long list of accomplishments: she will be a part of Season 12 of “American Horror Story.”

Kardashian made the announcement on Monday on her Instagram account, posting a teaser video with ominous music and the cryptic captions “eyeball” and “blood drop.”

According to the video that Kardashian posted, she will join “American Horror Story” regular Emma Roberts in the upcoming 12th season this summer. The upcoming season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series will be titled “Delicate,” according to Kardashian’s video.

Roberts also posted the same video with the caption, “This summer…Kim and I are DELICATE.”

Kardashian omitted any information about her role or the season. Variety received confirmation from FX regarding Kardashian’s casting, but no additional details.

Who has Written Episodes?

Halley Feiffer, who has written episodes for “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story,” will write all the episodes for the 12th season and serve as showrunner.

Kardashian has been a television star for more than 15 years, starring on Up With the Kardashians’ and now Hulu’s ‘The Kardashians,’ but she has rarely acted. She has appeared in cameos on a variety of sitcoms, including “How I Met Your Mother,” “30,” “2 Broke Girls,” and most recently, “Ocean’s 8.” She has, however, appeared in a handful of minor roles: in 2008, she appeared in the parody comedy film “Disaster Movie;” in 2009, she was cast in an episode of “CSI: NY;” and in 2012, she appeared in four episodes of “Drop Dead Diva.”

Kardashian has not acted in more than a decade, and her role in “American Horror Story” will be her most prominent to date.

The role gives Kardashian a bigger place in the Disney world. Kardashian and her family are currently executive producers and stars on the Hulu show “The Kardashians.” The show’s third season will start next month. “American Horror Story” airs on FX and can be watched on Hulu.

One of the most recognizable people on the planet, Kim Kardashian is one of the biggest forces in pop culture history. With her immense reality TV platform, she expertly parlayed her fame and following, with more than 350 million Instagram followers, into a billion-dollar empire. Her businesses include SKIMS shapewear and apparel, SKKN skincare, and a private equity firm she co-founded, SKKY Partners.

“American Horror Story” was made by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The show is known for having A-list stars come and go. Roberts will be back for Season 12; she last appeared in the series in 2019. She has been a main character for four of the seven seasons. Murphy has also used Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Billie Lourd, and even Lady Gaga in the fifth season of “American Horror Story.”
